The Festive season is
upon us and its looking better than I imagined, every street getting lit up
with lights and every home getting decorated with Christmas tree, lights etc. There’s
going to be a lot of travel, vacation etc.
There’s no need to be all
sophisticated when travelling, you’ve just got to be simple yet stylish,
picking basic color pallet is a good idea like blue, red marl, pink etc. I did something
similar with my outfit for this post, combining different shades of a particular
color i.e. blue and adding a bit of pink, black and red, making them pop and
I’m still not overdressing is a very fantastic idea, it’s ok to dress down here,
don’t be afraid no one is going to sue you lol. Here’s how to travel in style.
Get a loose round neck
tee maybe with ribs or a mesh shirt, its able to absorb heat while trying to
pack up your bags and luggage even when you’re tensed up, it also makes
travelling a lot easier when you arrive at your destination when offloading and
arranging your vacation apartment so you won’t look all stressed up with loads
and bags.
Get a jacket or
sweatshirt you can drape around your body or wear but it should be easy to pull
and wear back, I bet you don’t want to be in a mess shuffling between heavy luggage
and your jacket/sweatshirt. The most irritating fact is you don’t have to be
tacky about choosing a jacket, all you need to watch out for is if it’s breathable,
less heavy, and easy to wear, most importantly it has to blend with your outfit
to give you a more relaxed look.
Get a fanny pack, it
should be the abode of your gadgets and accessories so it becomes easier, never
just forget that so you don’t find yourself in a mess. You become tensed up if
your gadget are not well arranged, you been already on a plane and you can’t
find your charger or some accessories you need urgently and you’re not sure if
you packed them or not.
Get mules or a
comfortable sneakers, it’s so easy to wear and pull off especially if it’s
going to be a long trip so you’ll know how to fix up yourself and still look
stylish instead of wearing a shoe that’ll make you feel uncomfortable.
Get an earpiece and
keep your phone charged up, memories are made too from pictures, don’t forget
to take a lot of pictures as you like it’s never a waste because eventually you’re
still going to need them to reminisce on that trip especially if it was a long
trip from home.
Get a pair of
sunglasses to make you look stylish and also for sun but we all know we wear
sunglasses for different reasons, mine is to make my look more stylish and
eccentric.
